Barbara Dafoe Whitehead
Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, author of The Divorce Culture, currently serves as the co-director of the National Marriage Project at Rutgers University. She lives in Amherst, Massachusetts and earned her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Chicago and her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. She also studied at Columbia University as a Woodrow Wilson Fellow. Her work has appeared in various publications, including The American Enterprise, Woodrow Wilson Quarterly, and The Times Literary Supplement.
Barbara Dafoe Whitehead has also been featured on the MARS HILL AUDIO Conversation "The American Way Toward Marriage," and the Report, "Wandering Toward the Altar: The Decline of American Courtship."
