David Lyon

David Lyon is Professor of Sociology and is cross-appointed as a Professor in the Faculty of Law at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He also serves on the editorial boards of, among others, The American Behavioral Scientist and Education and Society. He earned his PhD from Bradford University, and his research interests include sociology of communication and information technologies, contemporary religion, and social theory.
