Eugene Genovese

The late Eugene Genovese was professor of history and president of the Historical Society of Boston University. Mr. Genovese is the author of, among other books, Roll, Jordan, Roll: The World the Slaves Made and The Southern Tradition: The Achievement and Limitations of an American Conservatism.
