James Tunstead Burtchaell

James Tunstead Burtchaell was one of the early presidents of the American Academy of Religion, and is a retired professor of the University of Notre Dame. He is the author of The Dying of the Light: The Disengagement of Colleges and Universities from their Christian Churches.
