Joseph Atkinson

Joseph C. Atkinson is associate professor of sacred scripture at the Pontifical John Paull II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family at The Catholic University of America. His research has focused on the concept of the “Domestic Church,” which explores the ecclesial structure and meaning of the family. In addition to teaching courses on marriage and family, on the nature and role of covenant, and on hermeneutics, Atkinson has produced a 13-part series with EWTN Global Catholic Network on entitled The Domestic Church: Biblical Vision of the Family.
