Wade Clark Roof

Wade Clark Roof, well-known commentator on religious trends in the United States and author of A Generation of Seekers: The Spiritual Journeys of the Baby Boom Generation, is the J. F. Rowny Professor of Religion and Society in the department of religious studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina. His research interests include religious pluralism and civic culture in California, and generations and religious change.
