The Pontifical John Paul II Institute will host a conference on the theme “The Difference Sex Makes: Man, Woman, Child” on February 25-27, 2027, in Washington. D.C. Some of the questions to be considered are “What is sexual difference? What is it, metaphysically? What is it to God, and in the whole economy of salvation? What is it, then, to be a man or a woman, a father or a mother? What is needed, culturally, for a girl to become a woman or a boy a man? What is the relation of sexual difference to culture and to the political order? What is at stake when in getting these questions right or wrong? In short, what do we “believe” about sexual difference?” (from the event description).
Speakers at the conference include David S. Crawford, Fabrice Hadjadj, Nicholas Healy, D. C. and Jeanne Schindler, Deborah Savage, Marc Barnes, Michael Hanby, and more.
