Johnny Cash died on September 12, 2003. In 1972, Ken Myers had his very first interview (at the age of 19) with this legendary country music superstar. After Cash died in 2003, Volume 65 of the Journal presented clips from that interview, which include a unique live performance in Cash’s dressing room of a song about the Last Supper.
