The current volume of Communio explores the gift of the sacrament of Confirmation. Confirmation is “a gift that deepens baptismal life by strengthening the Christian for ecclesial belonging, worship, mission, and the fruitful communication of what has been received” (from the introduction to the issue). This issue also includes two essays on the theological significance of Dante’s poetic vision.

Articles in the Spring 2026 issue include the following, plus many more: “Confirmation: The Generous Sacrament,” by José Granados, DCJM; “Illuminating the Christian Logic of Confirmation,” by D. C. Schindler; and “Confirmation: Sacrament of Liturgical Determination” by Jonathan Martin Ciraulo
