Defining your group’s members

There are four options available to get the names and e-mail addresses of your group into our system.

Option 1 — Send us a list

E-mail us (at soundthinking@marshillaudio.org) a list of group members including first name, last name, and e-mail address. The list can be in a spreadsheet (which saves us time) or a simple text file.

Options 2, 3, or 4

For any of these options, you’ll need to log into our site with the same account you used to purchase the group membership. Then hover your cursor over the word Account on the nav bar at the top of any page on our site.

Select Membership from the drop-down menu, then click on the Subscriptions tab. This will display a table, the first column in which is labeled MEMBERSHIPS. In that column, you should see a cell identifying the group membership you’ve ordered.

In the last column of the row with your group membership, you’ll see a list of options that includes Sub Accounts.

When you click on Sub Accounts, you’ll see a new page. Now you’re ready to select options 2, 3, or 4. You can ask members to sign in themselves, you can enter each member’s info one at a time, or you can upload a file with all of the relevant data.

Option 2 — Ask members to sign in themselves

Look on the Sub Accounts page for the heading Signup URL. Copy the address and paste it into an e-mail to the members of your group. When they click on the link, they’ll be taken to a page on our site on which they can sign in to your group membership.

Option 3 — Enter names and e-mail addresses manually

On the Sub Accounts page, click on the ADD SUB ACCOUNTS button to add the name of each member of your group, one at a time. You’ll need to assign each person a User Name for his or her account, as well as enter an e-mail address, First Name, and Last Name.

If one or more of the group’s members already has an account registered with us and you don’t know their User Name, let us know and our staff will add them to the group’s list.

Option 4 — Upload a file

You can prepare a file with the four items necessary for each member of your group.

Download the Excel file here, and fill it in for each person in your group. The file has 10 rows; if you need more, add them. If you have fewer than 10 names, please delete the blank rows before exporting the data.

Export the data as a CSV file. Then scroll to the bottom of the Sub Accounts page for the section headed Import Sub Accounts via CSV. Check both boxes to enable messages to be sent to your group.

Then click on UPLOAD CSV and select the file you’ve exported. This should add all of the names of your group into our system.
