Jens Zimmerman
Dr. Jens Zimmermann is J. I. Packer Professor of Theology and the Director of the James M. Houston Centre for Humanity and the Common Good at Regent College in Vancouver, BC. He holds PhDs in Comparative Literature (University of British Colombia) and Philosophy (Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany) and serves as the Visiting Fellow at the Center for Theology and Modern European Thought at the University of Oxford.
A philosophical theologian, Zimmerman’s interests lie in philosophical anthropology and epistemology. He is the author or editor of numerous books, including What Is Christian Humanism? Recovering a Human Society (Oxford University Press, October 2026). Read more about his work at his website.
