Historian George Marsden, author of The Outrageous Idea of Christian Scholarship (Oxford University Press, 1997), explores the culture of suspicion in academia toward Christian scholarship and argues for its inclusion as intellectually viable and coherent with regard to reality. He describes the current state of university culture, critiquing its intellectual hollowness and incoherence.
