In anticipation of Lenten practices of abstinence, we present two archive interviews about wine. First, Jennifer Woodruff Tait discuses her book, The Poisoned Chalice: Eucharistic Grape Juice and Common-Sense Realism in Victorian Methodism (University of Alabama Press, 2011). Then the mood changes as Gisela Kreglinger explores some of the themes in her book, The Spirituality of Wine (Eerdmans, 2016).
