Gilbert Meilaender
Gilbert Meilaender is senior research professor of theology at Valparaiso University and a Paul Ramsey Fellow at the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture. In addition to serving as an editor for the Journal of Religious Ethics and the Religious Studies Review, he has served as a member of the President's Bioethics Council. He is the author of Not by Nature but by Grace: Forming Families through Adoption; Body, Soul and Bioethics; Bioethics: A Primer for Christians; and The Taste for the Other: The Social and Ethical Thought of C. S. Lewis. His book Love Taking Shape: Sermons on the Christian Life, published by Eerdmans in June 2002, is a collection of sermons that reflect on love as a way of life. Essays by Gilbert Meilaender have been featured on the MARS HILL AUDIO Anthologies “The Ethics of Human Cloning” and “Place, Community, and Memory.” Meilaender is also published on the Anthology, “The Christian Mind of C.
